Saturday Boredom Busters

SIOUX FALLS, SD -

     All eyes will be to the sky today for the Sioux Falls Air Show.
     The gates open at Joe Foss Field at 8:30 am.
     Aerial groups start performing at 11 am including the Air Force Academy Wings of Blue Parachute Team, Dick Schulz Airshows, plus vintage airplanes and other aircraft throughout the morning and afternoon.
     The Navy's Blue Angels take the field at 2:15 pm.
     The  free air show ends at 4 pm.

     The Southeast Chapter of ABATE is hosting the Tri-State Poker Run.
     Register at Beresford Municipal Liquor from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
     The poker run goes to Hudson, SD, Rock Rapids, IA, Luverne, MN and Worthing, SD.

     Enjoy food and live music at Cookin' on Kampeska, Wing Fling & BBQ Thing.
     It's at Stokes Thomas City Park in Watertown.
     Admission is $5, free for kids 5 and under.

     Tonight's free Moonlight Movie is Cars, rated G.
     Showtime is dusk at Fawick Park in downtown Sioux Falls.
     Refreshments will be sold during the movie.

     You don't have to wait until St. Patrick's Day to celebrate Sioux Falls' Irish heritage.
     The Dakota Irish Fair includes music, kids events, rugby matches, plus gift vendors.
     The fair begins at 3 pm at 5th and Phillips in downtown Sioux Falls.

     Learn about downtown Pipestone, Minnesota's paranormal past during Summer Ghost Walks every Saturday night from now through Labor Day weekend.
     The tours begin at 8 pm at the Pipestone County Museum.
     The cost of the tour is $5 for adults, $3 for kids.
