SIOUX FALLS, SD - Elegant Xpressions in Sioux Falls is hosting its annual Prom Xtravaganza for Childrens Miracle Network this weekend.
A portion of all sales will go to help sick kids through CMN.
Today's hours are from 10 am to 6 pm.
Sunday's hours are noon to 4 pm.
Elegant Xpressions is located at The Bridges at 57th, on 57th & Western.
Young athletes can take their best shot at the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest at O'Gorman Junior High School.
Registration is at 10 am, the competition starts at 10:30 am.
It's open to all girls and boys from 10-14 years old.
All contestants need a parent or guardian signature on their entry form.
There's free pizza for the participants.
They're freezing for a reason in Huron.
The 2nd annual Polar Plunge will take place at Ravine Lake.
Registration is at 1 pm at The Plains.
The plunge will be at 2 pm.
All donations go to Special Olympics South Dakota.
The Stampede hockey team takes on the Dubuque Fighting Saints at the Sioux Falls Arena.
They drop the puck at 7:05 pm.
Today's your last chance to drop off your Christmas tree for free in Sioux Falls.
The tree drop off site at 301 North Lyons Boulevard is open from 9 am to 5 pm.
Don't forget to remove all lights and ornaments.
It's finally cold enough for some of Sioux Falls outdoor ice rinks to open for the season.
Warming houses at Tuthill and McKennan skate parks will be open today from 1-9 pm and Sunday's hours will be from 1-8 pm.
