Sanford Interview: The Story Behind The Stories

He's a household name in South Dakota and was just named one of the top 50 philanthropists in the nation.

KELOLAND's Angela Kennecke recently traveled to California to talk with T. Denny Sanford for some in-depth stories on the man behind the money.

She got the idea to do a profile piece while covering Sanford's donation to Dakota State University.  She asked Miles Beacom at PREMIER Bankcard to reach out to Sanford and the philanthropist responded to her directly to coordinate the interview.

Watch the attached video for more on how the interview came to be and Angela's impressions of the 78-year-old.
