The Salvation Army in Sioux Falls is hoping a Matching Challenge will help the organization get closer to reaching their Red Kettle campaign goal.
Today any $20 bill that is dropped into a kettle turns into a $100 donation.
The match challenge may be more important than ever this year as donations are about 40-percent behind last year.
The Salvation Army did meet their goal of raising $50,000 through the matching challenge today. Right now, the organization is less than a third of the way into the $350,000 goal.
