There's a new judge at the Minnehaha County Courthouse in Sioux Falls.
Susan Sabers was sworn in to her new role in South Dakota's Second Circuit. Her father, Supreme Court Justice Richard Sabers, administered her oath.
She is the 36th person to hold this prestigious position on the bench. Sabers replaces retiring judge Kathleen Caldwell.
