Road Construction Round Up
SIOUX FALLS, SD -
  • Dakota Avenue

On Monday, Dakota Avenue will be closed to through traffic north of Russell Street while crews install utilities. Local traffic will have access.

Crews expect to be finished by August 8.

  • North Drive

Crews will begin bridge repairs on North Drive between Main Avenue and Phillips Avenue on Monday. Two way traffic will be maintains while crews perform railing repairs and repainting.

Work is expected to take one week.

  • Third Avenue

Third Avenue will be receiving sanitary sewer repair work starting Monday near the railroad tracks between 14th Street and 18th Street. Through traffic will be one lane with no parking on the street.

Crews expect to be finished in three days.

  • Third Street

On Monday, Third Street will be closed from Mable Avenue to Highland Avenue for a new storm sewer crossing. There will be a temporary gravel surface until paving occurs on Mabel Avenue.

Work should be finished in one week.

  • Western Avenue

Starting Tuesday, the outside northbound lane of Western Avenue will be closed north of 50th Street. Those heading north will use the inside lane while crews perform utility work.

Work should be finished by July 30.
