Road Construction Round Up
SIOUX FALLS, SD -
  • Kiwanis Avenue

Starting on Monday at 8:30 a.m., the outside northbound lanes on Kiwanis Avenue from West Sixth Street to West Third Street will be closed. Crews will be repairing manholes.

Crews are expected to be finished by Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.

  • Holbrook Avenue

Crews will begin work on Holbrook Avenue from 57th Street to 61st Street on Monday. A new water main will be installed along with street surfacing. Traffic will be detoured to Sundowner Avenue.

The installation and work should be finished by July.

  • 49th Street And Lions Centennial Park

On 49th Street west of Southeastern Avenue and in Lions Centennial Park, work begins on sanitary sewer repairs Monday. Traffic will be maintained at all times.

The work in the park will take place in the grassy area and in the parking lot. The work areas in the park will be closed, but the remainder will be open.

The repairs should be finished in one week.

  • 13th Street And Fourth Avenue

Also on Monday, crews start work on Fourth Avenue from 13th Street to 14th Street. This area will be closed as crews remove pavement and begin utility work. New curb, gutter and asphalt will be installed as well.

Local traffic will be able to park on 13th Street from Third Avenue to Fourth Avenue.

The work is expected to be finished in five to six weeks.
