SIOUX FALLS, SD -
  • Minnesota Avenue

Starting Monday at 8:30 a.m., the outside northbound lane of Minnesota Avenue will close north of 11th Street. Those traveling north will use the inside northbound lane. The closure will be removed at the end of each day.

The closure will last until May 17 while Lloyd Construction works on a building.

  • 41st Street

Also on Monday at 8:30 a.m., the westbound lane of 41st Street is closing east of Sycamore for two days, while westbound traffic will be detoured to 57th Street.

Also, the eastbound lane of 41st Street will be closed east of Sycamore for two days and traffic detoured to 57th Street.

  • Phillips Avenue

Monday also sees the closure of Phillips Avenue, from 31st to 33rd as crews make sanitary sewer repairs. Traffic will be detoured west around the work area to Main Street.

The repairs should be finished in three days.

  • 19th Street

Beginning on Monday, concrete repairs start at the intersection of 19th Street and Gary Drive.

Gary Drive will be closed at 19th Street but 19th will stay open to traffic. Repairs should take a week.

  • 13th Street

Major work on 13th Street and Fourth Avenue starts on Monday as crews will be working on pavement removal, sanitary sewer, water main, street lights, asphalt pavement and restoration.

13th will be closed from Third Avenue to Fourth Avenue. Residents can park along Fourth Avenue during the four week reconstruction.

Then on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m., 14th Street from Third Avenue to Fifth Avenue will be down to one lane both ways, but the work will be completed during the day.

  • Emerald Acres

On Monday, work starts on the final clean up and restoration of Emerald Acres Drainage Channel Project.

69th Street reduces to one lane each direction from Mustang Avenue to Shadow Ridge Avenue.

Work should be finished by May 23.

  • Minnesota Avenue & 69th Street

On Monday the inside eastbound lane of 69th Street will be closed at Minnesota Avenue for concrete repairs. Work begins at 8:30 a.m. and will be finished by the end of the day.

  • 69th Street

The inside westbound lane of 69th Street will be closed west of Charger Circle for two days beginning on Tuesday. Those heading westbound will use the outside westbound lane.

The outside westbound lane will be close for one day once the inside lane work is finished. Work is expected to be finished by May 15.

  • Kiwanis Avenue

On Tuesday work will begin on Kiwanis Avenue from 46th Street to Sheldon Lane. Two-way traffic will go around the repair work as crews work on sanitary sewers.

Work should be completed in one week.
