Beginning Monday, work will start on the intersection of East Tenth Street and Second Avenue.
Traffic heading west will be reduced to one lane through the intersection. Second Avenue will be closed at South Third Avenue with no right turn possible at Tenth Street to East River Road. No access will be available from East River Road to East Tenth Street.
Also starting Monday, the intersection of Technology Drive and Technology Circle will be closed three days. Crews will be installing a new water main as well as repairing the street surface.
Traffic will be detoured to Solberg Avenue.
Technology Circle will continue to be closed until June 1 for the installation of the water main.
Monday also sees crews working on Madison Street between Elmwood Avenue and West Avenue as there will be five sanitary sewer repairs.
Two-way traffic will be maintained and work should last for ten days.
Concrete repairs begin Monday on South Louise Avenue between I-29 and Shirley Avenue. Traffic will be restricted to one lane at times, but will be maintained in both directions.
Repairs should last about five days.
Finally, crews will be installing a concrete curb and gutter on the north side of the Farm Field Park entrance road, Monday. The road will remain open but construction workers and equipment will be present near driving lanes.
The work should be finished by the end of the day.
