One of the Republicans running for South Dakota’s open U.S. Senate seat in 2014 has a five-point plan to reform Washington.
State Senator Larry Rhoden was in Sioux Falls sharing his ideas on Wednesday. Rhoden is one of five Republicans running for the party's nomination.
Rhoden says he wants Congress to adopt a balanced budget amendment, and he supports term-limits of two terms for Senators and three terms for members of the United States House of Representatives.
“The most likely way to make change in Washington D.C. is to have enough new people there with fresh ideas that are willing to make change,” Rhoden said Wednesday.
Rhoden has posted his entire plan for reforming Washington on his website.
