Reward Offered For Luverne Fire Information

Rock County Sheriff's Office announced they are offering a $5,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of a suspect in a recent fire.

A deputy saw smoke coming from the former Sharkee's Sportsbar building early May 27. Luverne Fire Department and Beaver Creek Fire Department were called to the scene and extinguished the fire.

Officials say that initial investigation reveals forcible entry was made into the building and the fire was intentionally set. The incident is still under investigation by the Rock County Sheriff's Office, Minnesota State Fire Marshall and Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
