Target and Neiman Marcus aren't the only retailers to get hit by hackers over the holiday shopping season. There are now reports of smaller secruity breachers on at least three other retailers. The stores have not been named, but according to reports, they're the kind of stores you'd find in a mall.
Officials with Neiman Marcus have not said how many credit and debit cards were compromised, but we are learning more about the Target breach.
According to the company's CEO, customers who used Target REDcard credit and debit cards have not been affected.
But, he says there have been a small number of reports of troubles with the Target VISA card. He was unable to comment on other cards.
Target C-E-O Gregg Steinhafel says since the investigation began, 13 sites that were phishing for information from customers have been shut down.
