SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Building an Events Center near the current Arena in Sioux Falls would be best for the city. That's the conclusion from two reports on the proposed project.
Based on the city's site evaluation criteria, the Arena ranks higher than Cherapa Place, which was chosen as a potential downtown location.
Council members will hear results of the comparative site analysis report and an economic impact study at 4 p.m. during their informational meeting.

Following the release of the reports, the city will host a question and answer session from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater's Anne Zabel Studio. The public is welcome to attend.
