PENNINGTON COUNTY, SD -
Plans for curbside debris pick-up are currently being planned. The City asks that you continue to take your debris to the drop-off sites. The start date for curb pick-up will be announced soon.
Those who are unable to make it to the drop-off sites, you are asked to prepare your debris for curbside pick-up.
City and private contractor crews can only remove tree branches from within the public right-of-way or in between the sidewalk and street. You are asked to consolidate your branch piles and place them as close to the street as possible. Large branches are to be cut into segments less than eight feet in length. Do not park in front of branch piles.
Twigs in bags or sacks will not be picked up and you are asked to take those twigs to one of the drop-off sites. Do not place them in your branch pile as crews cannot insure the content of the bags.
Smaller piles of twigs may not be picked up as the equipment used is unable to safely remove bunches of twigs.
You are able to dispose twigs with household garbage or take them to a drop-off site.
