The weekend blizzard is being blamed for taking the life of a rural Redfield man.
According to the Spink County Sheriff, 58-year-old Kevin Cranston died after leaving his pickup after it went into ditch.
Officials say Cranston, who was heading home from work at the time, was reported missing by his mother around 8:30 Sunday night. His pick-up was located just after midnight Monday morning.
It took nearly six hours for a search party to locate Cranston's body a half mile away from his stranded vehicle.
