Reaction To Events Center Recommendation

SIOUX FALLS, SD - Mayor Mike Huether laid out his recommendation Monday for building a proposed Events Center at the Sioux Falls Arena and Convention Center site.

It comes following months of discussion in the city and just a week after reports issued by consultants hired to study plans.

While Huether has supported the Arena location for awhile, there is opposition. A group of citizens argues the city would benefit more if an Events Center was built downtown.
