RC Man Wanted For Questioning In Shooting

RAPID CITY, SD -

Rapid City police are asking the public to help find a person of interest in the homicide of Eustacio Marrufo.  Officials found 33-year-old Marrufo shot to death in the parking lot of a Rapid City hotel Monday night.

Police would like to talk with 30-year-old Charles Birdshead.  He is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

He's Native American, is 5'8" to 5'9" tall, weighs between 140 and 150 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. Birdshead has tattoos on his neck and chest, and may be wearing glasses.

He's also wanted on warrants for obstructing police and possession of a controlled substance.

Anyone with information should call police at 605-394-4134, or send an anonymous tip by texting 'RCPD' and the information to 847411. Anonymous tips can also be submitted on Rapid City's Crime Prevention Website.
