RAVINIA, SD -
There is some positive news for the town of Ravinia.
Community members met with the state office of emergency management. In response, the state is sending in two pumps to start getting the water out of town. If approved by the Army Corps of Engineers a third, larger pump could also be on the way.
Towns in the area have also learned that some of their losses caused by spring flooding will be covered by the state's disaster declaration.
