The Rapid City Council has stripped the city's only strip club of its adult-oriented business license for three days.
The license suspension for Shotgun Willies begins Tuesday, meaning the club can have adult entertainment again by the weekend.
The council's 5-2 vote came Monday night after seven hours of discussion. Police had sought a 30-day license suspension, saying the club was cited five times in 2013 and once this year for violating the city's adult-oriented business ordinance. The club's attorney said authorities exaggerated claims.
