Rapid City Looking For Volunteers For Clean Up Week

The City of Rapid City is looking for groups or organizations to volunteer and help clean public areas of the city for the 44th Annual Rapid City Clean Up Week.

The event is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 21 and lasts through Saturday April 26. Those who volunteer are asked to pick up litter in public areas like parks, roadways and greenways. Bags will be provided for trash and recycling.

Those interested should call the Solid Waste Department between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at 605-355-3496 or go to and click ‘Rapid City Clean Up Day.’
