The Rapid City Fire Department is putting applicants who want to become firefighters to the test.
Dozens will take a written exam Monday at 8 a.m. The top 50 will move on to the physical portion of the test. That takes place at the School of Mines track. From there, applicants will be taken to the main fire station for the rest of testing.
If they can make it through all of that, interviews will begin Tuesday.
