Two people have died as the result of a crash at a Rapid City area intersection.
The Highway Patrol says 94-year-old Audrey Gerlach, of Rapid City, died shortly after the August 26 crash involving the car she was riding in and a van. Her husband, 95-year-old Charles Gerlach, was injured and died on Saturday.
The patrol says Charles Gerlach drove his car into oncoming traffic while attempting to make a turn.
Another passenger in the car suffered life-threatening injuries, and the two people in the van suffered serious injuries.
