SIOUX FALLS, SD -
He's been in and out of prison, but unless he can come up with half a million dollars, a Sioux Falls rape suspect will stay in jail until the case goes to court.
The Sioux Falls man was in court Friday afternoon, after police say he forced his way into a woman's home and raped her at knifepoint.
Leon Bird Horse pleaded not guilty, and the judge set his bond at $500,000 cash. Police say say he raped a woman in her central Sioux Falls home around midnight Thursday and tried to bind and gag the victim and her roommate.
The 34-year-old faces a list of charges including rape, attempted rape, and two counts of kidnapping.
