Random Act Of Kindness Brings Mother To Tears

Random Act Of Kindness Brings Mother To Tears

A random act of kindness brought a Sioux Falls mother to tears this weekend and it was all caught on video. After it appeared on Facebook, it went viral with thousands of likes and comments.

Katie Kanefke enjoys every moment with her four-month-old son, Marcus. What happened to her this weekend was a joyful moment she'll never forget.

Kanefke was in line to buy four cases of diapers and was hoping to save some money through a price match program.

Only the store manager told her she couldn't match the other store's price, so Kanefke was going to put three of the diaper boxes back, until Kanefke got an even better deal.

"This lady comes up to me, puts her hand on my back, she's like, 'Can I help you with anything?' I said 'I'm okay, thank you'," Kanefke said.

Only the woman agreed to buy the other three boxes of diapers for her.

"I was so surprised, I don't even know you, I couldn't believe it, I was shocked, I just kept saying thank you, God bless you, I couldn't believe someone I didn't know would pay for something like that for him," Kanefke said.

The three boxes of diapers the woman paid for totalled $120 and will now last the Kanefke's for about three months.

"I started walking out in the parking lot and it just hit me. I started crying. I couldn't believe someone who didn't know me, or this bundle of joy, could help us like that," Kanefke said.

Kanefke says the random act of kindness should send everyone a message.

"It shows how even in hard times or struggling, God has still got you, you may not know it or feel it, some angel like this lady came along and does something like that, it's restores your faith," Kanefke said.

The man who shot the video, Jason Yoshino posted the video on his Facebook page:
