Qdoba To Close 67 Stores; No Word On Which Ones

Qdoba To Close 67 Stores; No Word On Which Ones

A popular Mexican fast food chain is closing some of its restaurants.

Jack in the Box, which owns Qdoba Mexican Grill, has announced it will close 67 of its company run restaurants by the end of the year.

Out of the 647 Qdobas, 340 are company operated, including the two existing stores in Sioux Falls.

The company won't say which stores are closing yet, but says it will be in areas where the restaurants don't do well.

However, while it's closing some stores, plans are still in the works to open 75 new locations this year.

Qdoba is already starting construction on a third store for Sioux Falls on East 10th Street.
