SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Flu season is almost here. While the virus makes people sick every year, and can even be deadly, you have a chance Tuesday to protect yourself.
KELO-TV has teamed up with Lewis Drug to offer a flu shot clinic.
People nine years and older are invited to visit a Lewis Drug store in Sioux Falls, roll up their sleeve and get the vaccine. The cost is $28 or free with a medicare card. Flu mist is also available for an additional cost.
Children between the ages of nine and seventeen also need a parent present to sign a consent form. Children younger than that should see their doctor for the appropriate protection. Pregnant women also cannot be vaccinated through the clinic.
The flu shot clinic is scheduled to run until 9 p.m. For more information click on the video player.
