Presentation College Wants To Double Enrollment

Presentation College Wants To Double Enrollment
ABERDEEN, SD -

Presentation College plans to double enrollment on its Aberdeen campus in the next seven years.

Plans to boost enrollment from its current 300 and build a new residence hall are part of a strategic plan outlined by a committee headed by the college's new president, Margaret Huber.

Huber since January has met with administrators, professors, staff and students in an effort to make the college more appealing. In early August, the committee submitted the plan to the college's board of trustees, who approved the plan.

Huber says the plan is broken into four directions: growth, challenge, outreach and resources. She says plans to double enrollment are most prominent.

The college also plans to build a new 160-bed residence hall by fall 2013.
