Police Say DUI Driver Had Child On Lap
RAPID CITY, SD -

Three young children are safe after riding around Rapid City with a drunk driver.

Officers stopped 26-year-old Christopher Brown, of Wanblee, just after one o'clock Thursday morning at 5th and New York Street.  Police say one child was on Brown's lap and two others were in the backseat without seat belts.

Police arrested Brown for DUI, driving without a license, no proof of insurance, no child restraints and a warrant for failing to appear in court.

Police say the children are 2, 4 and 6-years old.
