Police Chase Leads To Drug Arrest

Police Chase Leads To Drug Arrest
SIOUX FALLS -

A Sioux Falls man is in jail after police tie him to more than three pounds of marijuana.

At around 7 p.m. Sunday evening, a tip led officers to a car parked on the 600 block of East 6th Street.

Sioux Falls Police attempted a traffic stop at about 8:30 p.m., but the driver fled in the vehicle. Police lost the car in a construction zone, but later found it when it crashed into a house at 1st Street and Blauvelt Avenue.

The man inside the car reportedly ran off and threw a backpack full of pot into a backyard. Authorities eventually arrested 29-year-old Ousman Dibba. He faces several drug and traffic related charges.
