SIOUX FALLS, SD -
A 60-year-old Sioux Falls man is charged with three counts of robbery and one count of grand theft in connection with at least three recent robberies in Minnehaha County.
Police say David Mentzer held up the Lambo's Conveneince Store on West 49th Street on October 12 and 18. He's also suspected in the November 3 robbery at the Kum & Go convenience store on E 26th Street.
Detectives are also linking him to the robbery and attempted at the Kum & Go convenience store on Western Avenue on November 8 and 14. But those charges must be brought to the Lincoln County State's Attorney.
Mentzer is being held in the Minnehaha County Jail on a $50,000 cash bond.
