One Arrested, Another At Large In Rape Case

Lincoln County authorities have now arrested two men in connection with raping a 12-year-old girl in Harrisburg last week.

Police say a Council Bluffs, Iowa teen was arrested Friday evening in connection with the sexual assault allegations. The 16-year-old male is charged with first degree rape and sexual contact with a child under 16.

The teen is currently being held at a juvenile detention facility pending a court appearance next week. His bond is set at $25,000 cash.

Police are still looking for 19-year-old Obadiah Loyira in connection with this same case.

Investigators initially questioned Loyira after the 12-year-old victim reported she had been sexually assaulted. He admitted to having sex with her, but investigators didn’t arrest him because they were still trying to piece the case together.

Another man, 20-year-old Elizeo Kalimba, has already been arrested in connection to the case.
