Police: Argument Led To Gunshots

Police: Argument Led To Gunshots
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Police say an argument led to gunshots at a Sioux Falls trailer court.

Officers were in the area near North Dogwood Place, when they heard the sound of six gunshots fired. Police say three people were in an argument near one of the trailer homes, when one pulled out a handgun and shot the trailer six times.

No one was hurt, and at this point authorities believe no one was in the trailer.

“We’re still working on names. I think I saw a couple of names, I don't know how sure they are of those.  We're still working on trying to find out the people that were already involved with this.  With the owner as well, they haven't been able to track him down," Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said.

Though officers did not arrest anyone in that situation, they did arrest two people who witnessed the gunshots as they were driving away from the scene. These two face misdemeanor marijuana charges.
