It has only been a few days since several inches of snow fell on parts of KELOLAND. Since then, crews have been working tirelessly to make sure the roads are plowed and safe to drive on.
Monday morning was pretty quiet with only a couple of plows clearing parking lots. An independent snow removal driver who was plowing says it's important for him to start his shift early, even though it wasn't snowing out on Monday.
"We have to start early and if the snow has stopped, it is really nice to get out there early when there is no traffic out. Less things to deal with and it just makes it a lot easier," Independent Snow Removal Driver Roy Parmly said.
Most of KELOLAND remains in a deep freeze with dangerous cold conditions. A Wind Chill Advisory will be in effect until noon on Monday.
