Pine Ridge Shooting

A Pine Ridge man is on life support and fighting to survive after an early morning shooting. Now investigators are trying to figure out whether he shot himself or if someone else pulled the trigger.
Although authorities haven't ruled out gang activity, a dangerous game may play a role in this morning's shooting. People inside this house may have been playing a game that tempts death.
At five this morning, Pine Ridge police were called to this home, where they found a body. The man was dead, but later revived and taken to the hospital. The victim may have drawn an unlucky card in Russian roulette, played with a 22-caliber hand gun.
No witnesses have come forward, and because of conflicting stories, police can't say whether the gunshot was self-inflicted or fired by someone else.
Police aren't releasing the name of the victim who's on life support at Rapid City Regional, and because he may be the only witness, this shooting remains a mystery.
Authorities are investigating an unrelated pair of shootings that happened Monday at separate Pine Ridge homes. Nobody is hurt.
