Rapid City police say officers were busy during holiday shopping sprees late Thursday and into Friday, but no one person kept them more active than a Pine Ridge man arrested twice at two major retail stores in a 10-hour span.
Authorities say 22-year-old Randolph Merrival was arrested 11 p.m. Thursday at a Best Buy for simple assault, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police say Merrival posted bond overnight and resurfaced about 8:30 a.m. Friday at Kohl's, where police arrested him for shoplifting.
