City recreation officials in Pierre are working to determine when they can reopen a swimming pool that was the site of a chlorine leak.
Emergency officials were called to the Griffin Park outdoor pool Monday afternoon when a city parks employee smelled chlorine in an equipment building near the pool.
About 50 people were evacuated from the pool as a precaution. Fire Chief Ian Paul says no people were ever endangered.
