A Pierre man has pleaded guilty to raping an 18-year-old woman.
Antoine LaDeaux, Jr. pleaded guilty Friday to raping the woman as part of a plea agreement with prosecutors.
Prosecutors say LaDeaux held the woman against her will at his residence in March 2012 and forced her to have sex until she was able to escape.
LaDeaux, Jr., was initially charged with third-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping and being a habitual offender.
The kidnapping charge and charge of being a habitual offender were dropped as part of the plea agreement.
Sentencing is scheduled for April 30. LaDeaux, Jr., faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison and a $50,000 fine.
