Peterson Joins Sioux Falls Mayor Race

Another person has officially entered the race to be the next Mayor of Sioux Falls.
Former State Lawmaker Bill Peterson held a rally Tuesday morning in downtown Sioux Falls to announce his candidacy. He says, as a long-time resident of the city, he knows there are better days ahead for Sioux Falls.
"Today, we face similar challenges. The future is uncertain and just like 30 years ago, we need to look to visionary leaders in government and business, labor and education to not only navigate through the challenges of today, but to seize the opportunities of tomorrow," Peterson said.
Peterson joins a list of four others who have officially filed the paperwork for the April election. Those other candidates include Joshua Bradley, Vernon Brown, Pat Costello and Mike Huether.
