Sioux Falls police are investigating a car-pedestrian crash that critically injured a 50-year-old man early Sunday.
The crash happened by the railroad tracks near 14th and Minnesota around 1:15 am.
Police say the man was attempting to walk cross Minnesota Avenue when he was struck by the car driven by a 32-year-old Sioux Falls man.
Officers shut down traffic in both directions from 14th to 18 Streets while they investigated.
This is the second car-pedestrian crash this weekend in Sioux Falls. A man was taken to the hospital early Saturday morning after being struck by an SUV at 12th and Marion.
