Governor Rounds has asked that the US
flag be flown at half-staff on Wednesday, which has been proclaimed as the day of a law enforcement memorial service in South Dakota
The service is set for Capitol Lake
at 9:30 in the morning. It will include the laying of a wreath at the state memorial and a roll call of South Dakota
officers killed in the line of duty.
The day has been designated as Peace Officer Memorial Day, and this week is Police Week.
