A hearing is postponed in Turner County for a 27-year-old man accused of sexual exploitation of a minor and child pornography.
The judge's action comes after Travis Witt's lawyer failed to attend Thursday’s hearing.
Alongside a pregnant woman appearing to be his wife,Witt arrived to the Turner County Courthouse after being accused of trying to entice a 12-year-old girl to create child pornography.
The Turner County State's Attorney won’t go into specific details of the case, but tells KELOLAND News Witt has known the victim for a significant amount of time and that they live in the same area.
The alleged crimes happened over the course of a month between April and May of this year.
The 27-year-old faces three alternative counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of solicitation of child pornography.
Witt refused to comment on the charges. He will be in court on November 7.
