Pam Huber Family Makes Statement
November 2, 2007, 9:58 AM
The family of a woman injured in a shooting in Highmore over the weekend wishes to share this statement through media relations at Avera McKennan Hospital:
In lieu of conducting any media interviews, they have asked us to share these brief comments on their behalf:
"Pam's family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming outpouring of support. Many people have responded with food and other personal wishes. All of this generosity is appreciated and we are grateful for your strong support as you have given us many shoulders to lean on.
Sadly, Pam's condition has worsened and it is now only a matter of time before we say goodbye to Pam as she makes her final journey home. We would like to ask you to now turn your efforts to praying for Pam and her children.
THANK YOU again... it is times like this that living in a small town makes one realize how lucky we are to have a "neighbor" at every turn."
