Overnight Snow Could Slow Morning Commute

Overnight Snow Could Slow Morning Commute

Many in KELOLAND are waking up to snow Wednesday morning. But despite the white stuff, temperatures will be a little warmer.

KELOLAND Meteorologist Brian Karstens says the Sioux Falls area has about an inch of snow as of 5:30 a.m. Some areas in Turner County have received more than two inches.

Plows are out in the Sioux Falls area cleaning the roads in time for the morning commute. And once the day gets going, this snow shouldn't cause any issues. But be cautious as your head out the door Wednesday morning.

And temperatures will only get better from here. Our team expects temperatures to rise for most areas in the state overnight. We should see 40s and 50s on Thursday.
