Outdoor University Held In Sioux Falls
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks brought the state's great outdoors to its biggest city.

Kids and families gathered at Sioux Falls' Outdoor Campus today to participate in the Campus' fourth annual Outdoor University. The free event featured an array of outdoor-themed activities which catered to a variety of ages and interests.

“It's our biggest event of the year. We take all the stuff that we do outside throughout the whole year, and put it all in one day. So people get a chance to try everything from kayaking, canoeing, fishing, fly-fishing, rock climbing, everything we do is all here today,” director Thea Miller Ryan said.

The Outdoor Campus is a branch of the State Department of Game, Fish and Parks. The department also operates an outdoor campus in Rapid City.
