In Flandreau, authorities are dealing with an investigation that involves two of its own police officers.
While it’s still an ongoing investigation, we do know the Flandreau police chief and another sergeant resigned amid allegations that evidence was missing from the police department.
The city attorney in Flandreau says the resignations are tied to the missing evidence that disappeared in January. But, he says the two men that resigned aren’t accused of taking the evidence.
