One person is dead after a crash in Sioux Falls. A vehicle was found off the road and in a corn field near 69th Street and Bahnson Avenue, according to law enforcement.

Officers say after a preliminary investigation, they believe the vehicle left the roadway near 69th and Southeastern Ave and came to a stop near 69th and Bahnson Ave.

The identity of the driver is being withheld until family can be notified. In a press release, authorities said the victim was a 53-year-old Sioux Falls resident. Authorities are unsure if the death was caused by the crash or a medical issue.
