One Dead Following Rapid City Stabbing
RAPID CITY, SD -

One person is dead and another in the hospital following a stabbing in the Rapid City Walmart parking lot.

Police say a man stabbed a woman shortly after 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon.

When police got there the man took off and ran to a nearby Days Inn.  He barricaded himself in the bathroom and stabbed himself.

Police say the woman has died from her injuries.  The man's injuries are considered serious.

Police don't know how the victim and suspect know each other.
