An O'Gorman graduate is coming to a TV near you Wednesday night. Luke Loving is scheduled to play Adam Richmond in Wednesday evening's episode of Criminal Minds on KELOLAND TV.
From musical theatre at O'Gorman High School in Sioux Falls to playing a part in an episode of Criminal Minds, Loving's hard work seems to be paying off. Xavier Pastrano went to school with Loving and while he has things to do Wednesday night, he'll definitely be in front of his TV come 8 p.m.
"Band practice for a little bit, but after that I'll be heading and watching Criminal Minds with my wife and checking out my friend Luke," Pastrano said.
Pastrano spent time with Loving in theatre at O'Gorman. He's been keeping in touch on Facebook and following his career since Loving made the move to California.
"Acting and film and stuff like that is a big passion of mine, so it's cool to see friends really follow that career and take it seriously. It's been great watching him grow and everything," Pastrano said.
While Criminal Minds will be Loving's first appearance on a big show, Pastrano thinks it won't be his last.
"I think this is like he's getting his foot in the door here. He's definitely been taking the right steps and making his career, trying to be as successful as he can. He's had some projects going on here and there but I this is the first time where I think it's going to be pretty big," Pastrano said.
Wednesday night's episode focuses on a series of kidnappings near Memphis. It airs at 8 p.m. central time on KELO-TV.
