KELOLAND News was in Williston, North Dakota on Wednesday touring the Bakken Oil Formation.
Officials focused the tours on the importance of understanding the oil boom, not just the complications of it, but the new possibilities that can come from the oil boom.
This tour is ahead of the Bakken conference that’s scheduled in Sioux Falls next week.
The tour and conference are both sponsored by Hegg Companies. In fact, they met with some of those conference presenters and talked about some of the things that they will be presenting to business owners and business professors in Sioux Falls next week.
On Wednesday, the tour touched on just about everything, from businesses who have come up and started because of the oil boom, all the way to their struggles, especially for the cities surrounding the area.
