Officials Searching For Third Burglary Suspect
SHINDLER, SD - Officials have arrested two suspects who they believe broke into a house near Shindler and are searching for a third.

KELOLAND News spoke with the homeowners who say they came home Monday morning and saw people leaving their house with a shotgun and rifle that belonged to them.

The suspects ran out the back of the house. But the homeowners noticed a suspicious car parked in the front and followed it into Sioux Falls. They were able to help police arrest that driver.

Officials later caught up with one of the suspects on foot and have since recovered two guns.

The third person still on the loose and believed to be on footand is described as a white man in his 40s or 50s.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity, especially in Southeast Sioux Falls in the area around 85th Street and Shindler toward Cliff Avenue should call police.

Officials believe these suspects may be tied to a string of burglaries in the area over some time.

Stay with KELOLAND News and KELOLAND.com for updates as police continue to search for the third suspect and as more details come in.
